Discoveries in daily living

There is so much to be grateful for. Because of the urgency of many things we miss living in the moment. I have chosen to say YES to life. Yes to God's purpose for my very existence. This is it, this is all I have, the moment I live right now, not yesterday, not tomorrow. Hello world and hello today, the very place and time My Creator has set me in. It's fascinating to see how many things were missed in the rush of accomplishments and urgencies.

Quiet time

Struggling somewhat to stay balanced. No matter how slow I go life seems to be speeding by. All I can do is continually breathe and focus. Staying balanced is harder than I expected. Guess that is where I went wrong (expecting). Lots of decisions to make now that the new project is coming to completion. Trying to block out the opinions of what everyone else wants and yet still considering all sides. Lord I ask for your divine intervention, plant your ideas. Holy Spirit calm my thoughts and send your peace. My intention is to follow the path that has been laid out. My intention is to serve those that are planted in my path. My faith is planted firmly in my creator, I know all will work out. The challenge is to stay calm and open to whatever life sends my way without giving into anxiety. This is no easy task for me. Staying quiet helps me stay firmly planted in my Lord..... The risk is falling into passivity and doing nothing at all.
