Protect your mind

Our town was proof of satan in the mind. Yesterday a man killed his wife and stayed in a stand off with the local law enforcement team. After 15 hours he was shot and killed. This is when they found his wife was dead all along. I am not sure of the inside story but my understanding is that this was not his normal behavior. Those who knew him feel satan got the best of his mind and he responding likewise. I would say this is powerful and scarry and worthy of looking into. We MUST protect our minds, our faith must be continuous, our spirits must be filled with God daily. No one knows what really happened until the end. I would hope that he reralized what took place and fell to his knees begging God to forgive him. Lord please dont allow this lesson to go wasted. May it save many souls..

Adjusting my life according to your revelation

Lord, I thank you for encouragement when I have doubts. Fear of wrong direction is not sent from you when I have been directly by You!! All recent events are confirmation that You are sending me on a new path. It seems that grace in this career has left me. All spiritual understanding is clear yet common sense and practical business goes against this. I have to stand firm in my faith in You. With you all things are possible even though it doesn't make sense. *Especially since it DOESN'T make sense~~~ THIS IS FAITH< doing what you are directing me to do at the risk of great loss!!
WOW!! Fear is really powerful if I don't see through it!! Thank you for more faith and trust. I will continue moving forward seeking life through You~

Faith when God speaks

Do you treat commands like these as implausible? Do you modify God's word to find an interpretation that seems reasonable to you? Don't discount what is possible with God (Phil. 4:13).
When God gives an assignment, it is no longer an impossibility, but rather it is an absolute certainty. When God gives you a seemingly impossible task, the only thing preventing it from coming to pass is your disobedience. When God speaks, it can scare you to death! He will lead you to do things that are absolutely impossible in your own strength. But God will grant you victory, step by step, as you obey Him. How do you respond to assignments that seem impossible? Do you write them off as unattainable? Or do you immediately adjust your life to God's revelation, watching with anticipation to see how He will accomplish His purposes through your obedience? God wants to do the impossible through your life. All He requires is your obedience."


In just the right moments He sends what we need!!

Stand Firm!!

BEING VIGILANT
Be vigilant; stand fast in the faith; quit yourselves like men; be strong. Let all things ye do be done in love. 1 Corinthians 16:13-14

As the Corinthians awaited Paul's next visit, they were directed to:
(1) be on guard. They were to be constantly watchful or alert for spiritual enemies that might slip in and thre...aten to destroy them whether it be divisions, pride, sin, disorder, or erroneous theology;
(2) stand firm in what they believed—that is, the gospel that they had been taught in the beginning, the gospel that had brought them salvation;
(3) be courageous so that they could stand against false teachers, deal with sin in the congregation, and straighten out other problems;
(4) be strong, with the strength given by the Holy Spirit; and
(5) do everything with love because without love, they would be no more than prideful noisemakers. Today, as we wait for the return of Christ, we should follow the same instructions.

Today, I stand firm in faith, waiting for God's directions and continuing forward believing!

Diluted morals and integrity in society

Wondering if the next generation will have a chance at knowing what really is. I see now why the elder generation is amazed at what is going on is society. I am just 42 and I see how each generation understands less and less about morals, respect and integrity. Guess we are getting closer to the sinful generation. I can only hope that God takes myself and my children while we are still His. I believe this may be the predestined plan. This reality came to life as I was sitting with my 16 year old son watching tv. I am surprised at the cursing, vulgar and disrespectful behavior on public television. He is now in his room because I refused to watch it and changed the channel. Lord, please help. Have mercy on us who are trying to show them your ways. I beg for intervention, for your divine help. Touch his heart, fill him with your love and knowledge. Help me to guide him properly and to fulfill my parental duty assuring him of your love. Grant me your peace and mercy Lord as I seek to fulfill my purpose here.
