Discoveries in daily living
There is so much to be grateful for. Because of the urgency of many things we miss living in the moment. I have chosen to say YES to life. Yes to God's purpose for my very existence. This is it, this is all I have, the moment I live right now, not yesterday, not tomorrow. Hello world and hello today, the very place and time My Creator has set me in. It's fascinating to see how many things were missed in the rush of accomplishments and urgencies.

choosing happy
You are the only person responsible for figuring out your own journey. No one can make you happy although their presence in your life can add to your happiness. No one can make you sad but their presence and control can add more sadness to your life if you do not learn to detach their emotions from your own. It isn't easy to live this way without the tools to master the process of detachment and independence.
Detaching from other people's problems and feelings is not an easy task for many people, especially if they don't understand love. Love isn't allowing other people to predict how you feel, what you should do and how you should behave. Love isn't all about feelings but about freedom to be yourself, support in tough times, companionship and growing together through the changes of life. Unconditional love isn't as easy to find as condtional love nor is it easy to understand. In a biblical sense, "nothing can separate us from the love of God" this is unconditional love. We often love with human love, this is the love of conditions, the love that increases if I do as you say I should. Spiritual love is unconditional love, the love that separates how I behave, how I look, from who I am.
Why is it so confusing to understand that I am NOT my actions? YOU are not what you do, what you look like, where you have been but WHO you are. Everyone deserves love and happiness. Everyone is someone. Love without restrictions, expectations and judgment and then you shall find "happy".
Arrival?
When you think you have arrived.....what's next? If enlightenment (awarenesss)(awakening) is to arrive at the place of seeing, knowing and being in all truth, what comes next? Is it to live this way forever or to strive for a new place of arrival?
Is truth better than denial? Some would say it's the only real option and some choose to go back into hiding behind denial. Both paths have their advantages, truth is the only way for the true self to BE but what happens when it turns out to be a lonely place because so many others turn away from it or choose never to enter? Do you turn away also or continue to flow through it?
There comes a time when you have to choose how you want to spend the rest of your days, whether it be in truth or denial. There are some people who need the illusions to survive their current state of being but once the heart is ready for change, the eyes and mind begin to open and see reality. The only way to go back then is through self denial. Wow, what a fearful choice, to risk a new state of being or to stay in familiar unhappiness. The choice seems to come quiet often throughout life and hopefully you take the risk more than not. It may be scarry to keep moving forward to unfamiliar grounds but you can rest assured that the familiar place of unhappiness and illusions will always be there waiting for your return. Plus, there will always be familiar faces still waiting for there IF you chooose the path of return.
