Discoveries in daily living

There is so much to be grateful for. Because of the urgency of many things we miss living in the moment. I have chosen to say YES to life. Yes to God's purpose for my very existence. This is it, this is all I have, the moment I live right now, not yesterday, not tomorrow. Hello world and hello today, the very place and time My Creator has set me in. It's fascinating to see how many things were missed in the rush of accomplishments and urgencies.

Mastering balance

My mind is in submission to my inner self. My body is loose and rested. My home is in order. My spirit is happy and calm. I am staying mindful to this process of balance as I prepare to return to work. Today I begin incorporating boundaries into my work day. First, was awareness of the problem. Then the desire to change things. Insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results. So today I claim my sanity. I have struggled with this for over 13 years and finally feel encouraged. Thank you Lord for opening my eyes and ears to the wisdom within. I see boundaries everywhere, your natural process of this world. Around the water, in the clouds, on the sidewalks, even animals know their boundaries, and small children look around before they cross one. Being aware of these has shown me that it is natural and internal. We, our deepest inner being, already know what is necessary to live a purpose driven, divinely lead life with balance and joy and wholeness. Once we remove the busyness, chaos, obstacles, and deception from our view we can see clearly. Boundaries are necessary to find balance and maintain calm while living a spirit lead life. Staying mindful and aware will allow the voice from within to warn of any opposing force bullying its way in. This peace is worthy of protection, equipped by the armour of God, we are prepared to guard against theives and intruders who sneak their way in. Heavenly father keep your hand on me for protection as I continue on this journey that I have named The Call of Creation. I am created to serve with a joyful heart to improve the space that surrounds me.

Women of retreat

We search and gather pieces
everywhere we go
sticks and boxes and little trinkets
love and hope and tiny seeds of faith
hurts and hugs
smiles and tears
stories and dreams
pain and pleasure
photos and flowers
we yearn to connect
we stretch for freedom
we open for healing
we seek darkness for sight
and silence for direction
laughter and dancing
fire and water
branches and breath
we are one
we slowly depart
and float away
skimming the earth
when passing by
leaving tiny particles
everywhere we touch
our hearts grow bigger
our soul finds home
we are one

Calm from within

The water stands still
as does my mind
Little circles appear
then gently go away
It shines like glass
reflecting love from around
Life slowly ripples through it
in its own unique way
gently passing by
never to be the same
Below the surface
the eye cannot see
but in the present moment
all can be felt as it truly is
Surrounded by much
only few enter in
Many fly over
dropping new life
All the while
He looks over me
Droplets from above
or jumps from below
I remain still from within
I am planted in the earth
I share my very being
with what exist around me
yet I stand still

I am calm, I am happy, I am home

Valentine's Day

Sending love today, especially to those who do not feel it. To those who feel all alone and heavy by the burdens of life I send hope. To those who are lost and cry out in anquish I send peace. To those who are too busy to notice I send silence. The soul within me feels calm and warm and safe. My spirit is light and free. My mind is still yet active. My body is loose and flexible. My ego is quiet and in submission to my inner being. I am happy. I am delightfully joyful. I am grateful for time alone with my divine self, my creator and eternal father. I have purpose and intention to leave this earth a better place. I share the love of my heavely father with all creation and I am open to serve anyone who is sent my way. I will protect the active love and compassion which I shelter within by enforcing safe healthy boundaries. I am receptive to the act of transformation in whatever form it comes. The grace, faith and trust God has blessed me with gives me the power to become calm in the storms and dark nights. For now, I enjoy the mountaintop until the next valley comes my way. Namaste!
