Discoveries in daily living
There is so much to be grateful for. Because of the urgency of many things we miss living in the moment. I have chosen to say YES to life. Yes to God's purpose for my very existence. This is it, this is all I have, the moment I live right now, not yesterday, not tomorrow. Hello world and hello today, the very place and time My Creator has set me in. It's fascinating to see how many things were missed in the rush of accomplishments and urgencies.

Avoidance or denial
Sometimes it would be easier to "step out" of the picture and pretend some things arent happening. There is a temptation to turn off the tv, the news or anything that isn't happy or profitable to know. Part of my mind says to stay away from the negative and only cling to the positive. But ALL of it is along the path. So does it all come down to control and manipulation, even in our growth? Is avoidance just another form of picking and choosing the process. Staying around only the positive does create a sense of positive in ones life, mostly because you will see what you are looking for. So why can't the positive still be seen amongst an unpleasant situation? I believe it can through the eyes of faith!! Fear tells me to turn and ignore but faith tells me it will all be exactly as it is meant to be. It is ok not to be beaten down with grief every time something sad happens and it is also ok to be grief stricken when something sad happens. I don't seem as effected when I am open and not fearful. Even though some situations sadden my heart I know that things are changing, evolving, and purposely moving on.
Long term alienation will stifle your growth process ~it is through our interactions with others that we learn our greatest lessons.
