Discoveries in daily living

There is so much to be grateful for. Because of the urgency of many things we miss living in the moment. I have chosen to say YES to life. Yes to God's purpose for my very existence. This is it, this is all I have, the moment I live right now, not yesterday, not tomorrow. Hello world and hello today, the very place and time My Creator has set me in. It's fascinating to see how many things were missed in the rush of accomplishments and urgencies.

God's spirit flows through an open heart

As long as the heart is not sealed closed there is space for the spirit of God to flow through, for His love to bust open the seams (openness to accept the destruction of the outerselves). Only after accepting and welcoming the ideals of life that have been destroyed can I welcome the true real purpose of what IS.

As the skin of the grapefruit are bitter
and the layers of onion need peeling
so does the sinful nature of ourselves
As Lord peels away the bitterness
we taste His sweetness
Without the skin of the fruit
or the shell of the nut
they would not produce good meat
The need shelter while they mature
Without the sun and the rain
they would not grow and produce
