Idle words

Father forgive my impatience and negative attitude. I ask you to forgive my words of death, asking you to remove me from my current
position. I realize this sadness is from life not turning out exactly as I imagined. I am exhausted from trying to do things that are not in my power. Instead of death I ask for life. Bless me Lord with your presence and attitude. Forgive my cowardness to continue, pride in Your blessings and righteousness. I thank you and respect your gifts, they are exactly that, gifts that you chose to give. Not gifts that I worked for or deserved. Any power or blessings come from You for your purpose. I detach from any and all that take me from your service. Continue to protect my soul from evil and show me your ways to live. Give me strength to continue and remove the blinders that prevent me from seeing pride, self righteousness, or any other selfish sins. I beg for your forgiveness and compassion. I am ashamed and in need of your mercy and forgiveness. Help me to keep my words to a minimum and my ears wide open. I am humbled, thank you Lord for allowing me to see. Grant me strength to continue forward with an open heart filled with your love understanding and compassion.
